Ryan is in his senior year as a Vocal Performance major at West Chester University. We are happy to have him on our stage as well as serving of our Board of Directors. Last fall Ryan sang the role of Nanki Poo in our production of The Mikado. Ryan sang the role of Laurie in Mark Adamo's Little Women last December at West Chester University. And this coming December Ryan will star in the University's production of Die Fledermaus. Ryan's other recent roles include Bill in Samuel Barber's chamber opera A Hand of Bridge as well as Gherado in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi. It is Ryan's ambition to enter a graduate program to receive his Master's Degree in Opera. In his "free time" Ryan is a tenor soloist at various churches; he sings with the semi-professional chamber choir Belle Voix in Wilmington, and tries to utilize any opportunity he can to sing and perform. As Ryan continues on his "journey through life" the number of people he owes a debt of gratitude exponentially increases. He is extremely grateful to the GSSCC for this fantastic opportunity to be a part of the truly timeless Gilbert & Sullivan classics. Also, Ryan will never forget the constant support he receives from his family in everything that he does. Without them as a solid foundation, Ryan would most definitely not be where he is today.
