Ryan Goulden (Nanki-Poo)
|
Ryan is a Junior Vocal Performance Major at West Chester University.
He is extremely excited about his first production with the GSSCC
as well as being able to sing with his good friend Jessica Lennick (Yum-Yum).
Ryan and Jess will also be singing the roles of Laurie and Amy in Mark Adamo's
Little Women in December at West Chester University: Swope Hall. Ryan's most
recent roles include Bill in Samuel Barber's chamber opera A Hand of Bridge as
well as Gherado in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi. It is Ryan's ambition to enter a
graduate program to receive his Master's Degree in Opera. In his "free time",
Ryan is a tenor soloist at Grace United Methodist Church in Wilmington DE, sings
with the semi-professional chamber choir Belle Voix, also based in Wilmington,
and tries to utilize any opportunity he can to sing and perform.
As Ryan continues on his "journey through life" the number of people he owes a debt of gratitude toward exponentially increases. He is extremely grateful to the G&S Society of Chester County for this fantastic opportunity to be a part of a truly timeless classic such as the Mikado. Also, Ryan will never forget the constant support he receives from his family in everything that he does. Without them as a solid foundation, Ryan would most definitely not be where he is today. |
