Nathalie Dalziel (Casilda)

Nathalie Dalziel This is Nathalie’s fifth production with the society. In high school she was in the chorus of Princess Ida, H.M.S. Pinafore, and in two productions of Trial by Jury playing a bridesmaid and, a year later, Angelina. During her senior year in high school she went on to play Josephine in Thespis Etc.’s production of H.M.S. Pinafore. In May 2007 she graduated summa cum laude from Westminster Choir College earning a degree in vocal performance. While at Westminster she performed with choirs that sang with the New York Philharmonic, took part in opera workshops, and played Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn in The Music Man with Westminster Musical Theatre. In 2005 she traveled to Buxton, England with the Philadelphia Gilbert and Sullivan players and was Phylla in their production of Utopia Limited. Nathalie is a member of the Opera Delaware chorus and was in their productions of Madama Butterfly (chorus), Gondoliers (Fiametta), and also performed with the group during the Italian Festival in Wilmington. With the Rose Valley Chorus and Orchestra she played Valencienne in their 2008 Spring production of The Merry Widow. Nathalie currently studies with Temple and AVA professor Carlos Serrano in Philadelphia.
