Thanks
to GSSCC, and an as yet unconfirmed conspiracy to keep him offstage,
Kevin Strauss
steps around the footlights and takes on the mantle of Stage Director
for this
year’s production of Trial by Jury.
Kevin has always considered himself a “closet lead”,
and takes
inordinate pride in having sung all of the major Gilbert and Sullivan
light
opera roles, including a spectacular Katisha, in the confines of his
shower,
kitchen and SUV.
Kevin sends love and thanks to Barbara, dogs Bob, Jackson, and Murphy, as well as Miss Kitty for putting up with the incessant need to have his ideas heard out.
When not scrambling to get to rehearsals, he is the Chief Financial Officer of AIDS Care Group in Chester, collects G&S memorabilia, and pretends to be a gourmet chef.
