Fred Dittmann (Sergeant of Police)

 Fred performed with the Philadelphia Gilbert & Sullivan Union which performed Iolanthe and The Pirates of Penzance in Buxton, England in prior summers. Other roles include Willem in the Rose Valley production of Victor Herbert's The Red Mill, Benny Southstreet in Guys and Dolls, and the Captain in Carousel. He has sung with various musical groups and performed with theatrical companies from a young age. Additional credits include Private Willis in Iolanthe, Arac in Princess Ida, and Lieutenant Chomondely in Yeoman of the Guard for the Savoy Company; Don Alhambra in The Gondeliers, the Usher in Trial by Jury, and  the Mikado in The Mikado for GSSCC; singer and actor with The Christmas Revels, Choral Arts Society of Phila, Ardensingers, and Anything Goes with the Episcopal Academy players. Fred currently sings with a local a cappella group, The Tonics, which has produced three CD's. Off the stage, he is a senior vice president with Pennsylvania Trust Co, studies voice, and serves on various charitable boards. Fred would like to dedicate these Pirates' performances to the late Cope Walbridge, a special 30 year friend, colleague, and mentor who performed brilliantly for the Blue Hill Troupe and The Comedy Club in NYC for many years.
