Ed returns to the island kingdom of Utopia to play the wise man, Phantis, a real turn-about having played King Paramount with the Ardensingers in 2005. His previous GSSCC roles include Ernest Dummkopf (Grand Duke), Florian (Princess Ida), Apollo (Thespis) and the Duke (Patience), as well as both the Counsel and the Defendant in Trial by Jury, in different seasons mind you! Other recent G&S roles include Capt. Corcoran (HMS Pinafore) for the Ardensingers, Strephon (Iolanthe) for Thespis Etc., and Maj. Gen. Stanley (Pirates of Penzance) for Rose Valley Chorus & Orch. Ed especially loves performing in shows with his talented wife, Kate and daughter, Sara, and is enjoying being onstage with Sara for this production. He currently serves on the GSSCC Board as Recording Secretary.
