Ed returns
to GSSCC to play Giuseppe, a repeat twin-billing after playing Phantis
in Utopia, Limited. Past GSSCC roles include Ernest
Dummkopf (The Grand Duke), and Florian (Princess Ida), as well as both
Counsel and Defendant in Trial by Jury. Other recent roles
include Capt. Corcoran (HMS Pinafore) for Ardensingers, Jack Point
(Yeomen of the Guard) for Thespis Etc., and St. Brioche (The Merry
Widow) for RVC&O. Ed has previously been convicted
(Oops, elected!) to the GSSCC Board as Lord High Recording Secretary.On a serious note, Ed's first G&S production was The Gondoliers with Penn Singers under the baton & direction of Bruce Montgomery; he dedicates this performance to his memory, and hopes in some humble way to perpetuate the gifts of music and performance Monty offered so richly to all.
